We have rebalanced Photoship credits to make the cost of uploading product photos and creating catalogue outputs easier to understand.
New accounts now receive 300 starter credits. Existing accounts have also been moved to the new credit scale, and accounts with lower balances receive a one-time adjustment to bring them to at least 300 credits.
Simple Pricing for Product Images
Every successfully stored image uses 1 credit.
If you choose AI assistance, analysis uses 1 additional credit per image.
That means:
- 10 images without AI use 10 credits.
- 10 images with AI use 20 credits: 10 for upload and 10 for AI analysis.
- 100 images without AI use 100 credits.
- 100 images with AI use 200 credits.
The upload screen shows this breakdown before you continue, so you can see the complete cost of your selection.
Your First PDF Is Still Free
Your first generated PDF remains free. Each additional PDF uses 50 credits.
Editing the design of an existing generated PDF remains free. You can change its theme, layout, colours, and visible product details without paying again.

You can buy more credits whenever you need them:
- 150 credits for ₹99
- 250 credits for ₹149
- 600 credits for ₹299
Credits do not expire, and there is no recurring subscription.
What Happens to Existing Accounts?
Existing balances, grants, transactions, and pending refunds are converted together so account history remains consistent.
After conversion, existing accounts below 300 available credits receive a separate, auditable adjustment for the difference. An account at 250 receives 50 credits; an account at zero receives 300.
No action is required from customers.
Why We Made This Change
Photo uploads are the start of many Photoship workflows. Charging a small, predictable amount per stored image gives customers room to upload larger catalogues while keeping storage usage tied to a single credit balance.
AI remains optional. If you only need a quick image-based PDF, you pay for the stored images without paying for analysis. If you want Photoship to extract product details, the additional AI price is shown separately.
The result is one balance, clear costs, and more useful work from the credits included with every account.
