The Problem
You take a photo of your product. Now you need to crop it square for your catalogue, add a watermark so nobody copies it, and maybe put the product name and price at the bottom. That's three different apps, three exports, and by the time you're done the file is named IMG_20260403_final_v2_FINAL.jpg.
We built an image editor that does all of it in one place.
What the Image Editor Does
Open any image in your workbench and you get three tools:
Square Crop — One click to crop your image to a 1:1 ratio. Perfect for catalogue grids, online stores, and social media. Drag to reposition, then apply.
Watermark — Add diagonal text across the image. Set your brand name once and it applies to every image. Adjustable opacity and size.
Product Details Bar — An orange bar at the bottom of the image with the product name and price. Click a product chip and the details fill in automatically from your product data. No typing needed.
Quick Action Chips
If the image is linked to products in Photoship, you'll see product chips below the editor. Click one and it toggles the details bar with that product's name and price. Click again to remove it. This is the fastest way to create catalogue-ready product images.
Download and Share
Download saves the edited image with a descriptive filename — the product name if linked, otherwise the original filename. No more download(3).png.
Share uploads the edited image to our CDN and copies the link to your clipboard. Send it to anyone — they see the image directly, no login needed.
Three Free Public Tools
We also released three standalone tools that anyone can use without signing up:
Product Image Maker
The full editor experience — crop, watermark, and details bar — as a free tool. Upload any image and process it right in the browser.
Image Crop Tool
Simple square and custom aspect ratio cropping. Upload, drag to position, download.
Add Watermark to Image
Diagonal text watermark with adjustable opacity. Protect your product photos before sharing.
All three tools run entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded to our servers.
Inside Photoship
The image editor is built into the workbench at /app/images/workbench. Every image you've uploaded — whether through Excel import, bulk upload, or manual add — is there. Click any image to open the editor with full product and catalogue context.
If you're already using Photoship for catalogues, the editor fits right into your workflow. Edit an image, save it, and it updates everywhere that image appears — in your catalogues, your online store, and your PDFs.
