3 New Store Themes Are Live: Compact, Minimal, and Showcase

We added three new store themes for different selling styles—Compact for mobile speed, Minimal for clean no-image browsing, and Showcase for premium visual storytelling.

We just shipped three new store themes in Photoship:

  • Compact
  • Minimal
  • Showcase

This is not a color-only update. Each theme is built for a different way buyers browse and order.

Why We Added Three More Themes

Not every business sells the same way.

Some buyers want speed. Some buyers want clean text-first comparison. Some buyers decide based on visual presentation. One layout could not serve all three well.

So we expanded the layout system with focused experiences.

Compact: Built for Fast Mobile Ordering

Compact is for quick scanning and quick cart actions.

  • Dense product rows
  • Faster add-to-cart controls
  • Mobile-friendly catalogue navigation
  • Better for repeat buyers and WhatsApp-led selling

If your customers already know what they want, Compact reduces friction.

Minimal: No-Image Browsing for Cleaner Decision-Making

Minimal strips away visual noise on browse pages and focuses on names and prices.

  • Typography-first browsing
  • No image-heavy listing walls
  • Cleaner product comparison in long catalogues
  • Better reading rhythm for utility purchases

If your catalogue is large and buyers compare quickly, Minimal feels calmer and faster.

Showcase: Premium Visual Presentation

Showcase is for products where visual impact matters.

  • Large visual cards
  • Featured-first product hierarchy on catalogue pages
  • Better spacing and composition for premium browsing
  • Stronger storytelling for image-led businesses

If product presentation drives conversion, Showcase is the best fit.

Same Theme System, Different Experience

All layouts still run on the same Photoship store engine:

  • Live product sync
  • Same URL and sharing flow
  • Same cart behavior
  • Same brand color/theme controls

So you can switch experience without changing your core workflow.

Also Improved: Theme Naming Consistency

We also fixed a mismatch in theme naming between store creation surfaces.

Now the naming is consistent everywhere, including labels like:

  • Jewelry & Watches
  • Tech & Gadgets
  • Luxury & Premium

Try It in Your Store

Go to Online Stores → Create (or edit an existing store), preview all three themes with your real catalogues, and publish the one that matches your buyers best.

More theme improvements are next.
